India steal victory

Mohali, 2010 One of the greatest Tests India and Australia battled it
out for five days before the hosts
sneaked home with one wicket
standing in their second innings. The
match had it all twists and turns in
equal measure. A measured 126 from
Shane Watson, Four Indians went past
fifty in the first innings but none
converted it into a hundred. Eights
wickets in the match for Zaheer Khan
meant India were chasing 216 in the
final innings. At 124/8, all seemed over
for the Indians, but no one told that to
VVS Laxman. Struggling with back
spasms, he had batted at number 10 in
the first innings, and came out with a
runner at 7 in the second innings.
Together with Ishant Sharma, he
raised India's hopes before guiding
them past the victory post in the
company of Pragyan Ojha. Laxman
had annihilated Australia once again.
