Zomato-the online food delivery portal that launched a delivery service through which people both from the city and outside can buy food for anyone who does not have access to it and deliver it to them. They are calling it as the 'Meal for Flood relief' delivery service and there are two meal plans in place as of now, meal for two priced at Rs 100 and meal for four priced at Rs 400. Both meals will be delivered in half an hour and for every meal that you order, Zomato also offers one for free.

Paytm- one of India's largest mobile commerce platforms has also launched an initiative 'Stay safe' under which the company is giving a free talktime of worth Rs 30 to any mobile number in the state. The company's blog says "If you would like to recharge anyone's mobile number so that they can remain connected during this tough time, please call us at 18001030033 and share the mobile number. We will recharge it with Rs 30 worth of talk-time, free of cost". The e-commerce portal also mentioned that people around the country have come forward to offer help through company's initiative- #staycharged.

Besides, Urbanclap - a marketplace for services stepped in to organize a pest control camp at three worst affected locations within the city. The initiative was led by fifteen volunteers from the organisation, and its partners.

Practo-the healthcare application has also joined the league and is putting together a list of verified doctors and hospitals that people can call. The company will be updating this list every hour.

It all started with Ola, when the taxi company in first of its kind initiative offered boat service to help the rain victims. The company also explained on Twitter that the it had been "ferrying people out from water-logged areas" in the city after vehicles couldn't access flooded roads.
