Hi Guys,

Pls suggest a good 5.1 Home Theatre having SPDIF/Digital Audio Input (Optic). I have Sony Bravia 43" FHD LED TV and Tata Sky HD.

My existing HT doesnt have Digital Inputs (HDMI/SPDIF/Digital Optic In) hence i am getting low audio of HD Channels having DD Audio. Normal HD channels and SD channels are working fine.

Both TS and TV have HDMI and SPDIF/Digital Audio outputs so i want to buy a HT having atleast SPDIF/Digital Audio Optic

Thanks

Bro, not so much high priced. I just want a low end 5.1 HT, which can support SPDIF/Optical audio in from STB.

Well Budget is 10-12k. Can i get anything in that.

Is it possible for me to just get AV Receiver (Main Unit) as i have Extra Philips Speakers as Subwoofer ???

Best option is Sony IV300. You can get it for 18k.

Previously have had good experience with Philips, but if possible visit a local store and check the sound quality then order from amazon.

Yes, thanks bro. I will go and check it. Also amazon has return policy where they will accept the unit back if its malfunctioning.
