Strange SMS usages deails

I have never sent a even single message from my jio number. But I checked the SMS usage details such that I have sent 100 sms to the same number +91-9223040040 (today from 6.30 pm to 9.40 pm on 1st December 2018). Without my knowlege the 100 messages have been sent to +91-9223040040 automatically? . Is this fraud?

Once or twice is normal as Google sometimes tries to verify our numbers. But sending messages 100 times isn't normal. Try contacting Jio care for help.

thanks for ur reply. I immediately contacted jio customercare. He replied that I have sent 100 sms to that number. just he replies. during that time I was using BHIM app and SBI yono to add a virtual address
