What is current security patch level?
Any word about Nougat update?

Security update is upto 1st Jan 2017 for my Beta ROM and for stable ROM MIUI 8.2 it is up to 1st February 2017. They normally update security before releasing stable ROM.

It's too much to ask Nougat for almost 2 years old device for which I paid only 6K at that time. Base android was updated only once to add VoLTE support from Kitkat to Lollipop. We should be happy that they are still adding useful features and giving security updates once in 5-6 months for such a old budget range devices.

BlackBerry wins $815 mn in dispute with Qualcomm over royalty overpayments

BlackBerry says it has been awarded $814.9 million in a binding interim arbitration decision in a dispute with Qualcomm Inc over royalty overpayments.

The two companies agreed last year to arbitrate a disagreement regarding whether Qualcomm's agreement to cap certain royalties applied to payments made by BlackBerry under a license agreement.
