Meat industry is one of the biggest contributor to global warming. But we are not ready for conversation about putting blanket ban on festivals that sacrifice animals just for the sake of it. / I for one absolutely respect people's freedom and overall health being. Overall health includes mental health. These Diwali crackers were an occasion for us to get together in our busy schedule. At the very least, government should organize community celebration in parks, vacant place in every ward if they will ban crackers. Everything can not be blamed on Environment and be stopped. It is not right. 1 day celebration can not be held as cause of pollution for other 364 days. Specially when even without Diwali crackers, pollution level reach the same level in Delhi NCR during winters.
