Do I need Jio Set top box to get OTT subscription which are bundled with Recharge plan(999/-)

Yes. STB is mandatory to activate the subscription.

Guys need help.
Am currently on Referral plan. Took connection without STB.
When i asked abt stb to marketing team today, he told me to recharge the 999 plan and automatically a voucher will appear for stb.
today i got another referral from marketing team.
Now i would really like to get stb and as i have 3 months of ott subscriptions.
my question is if i recharged for 999 today for stb voucher will the plan get activated instantly as am on a referral plan currently or will it be on que.

It will be in que. But u have to pay 1000 for STB as security deposit.

Yep. And continue to recharge 999 for STB.
and if converted to Postpaid, no security deposit will be there.
And recharge will be 399+100, 399+200

As of today morning, none of my devices are able to connect to my jio fiber router's 5ghz network. The SSID is visible on all my devices, but none are able to connect to it. 
It was working fine till yesterday.
2.4ghz network is working fine.
Anyone else facing a similar issue? (or maybe in the past?)

My plan is 599, if I redeem points from SBI credit card app and take 3 months prime then how will it open in jio fiber?
