I am thinking- what is the need of landline, how many percentage of urban people r using landline. All have mobile connections now. Extra amount of monthly or tri-monthly recharge will have to do. If anybody doesn't want landline - can this giga fiber monthly cost reduced, or its mandatory?

These is an additional offer their to use or not , why are getting engaged here with matter , let them do , if you want that service than or left otherwise this service is free from jio

I live in an area where only apartments are there. Mobile signal is very poor and I can use mobile only in the balcony. All service providers have visited and tested and they are saying it's because of the buildings and they need to add towers and they are increasing the number of towers in the area. For a reliable telephony land-line is must for my situation and for the only reason I am with Airtel broadband.
Anyway, Jio land-line is not at additional cost and good to have.

Today i visited Jio Office and they confirmed me Jio GigaFiber is already operational in parts of my city. As i saw wires in my near by area i shown them interest to take a connection. They said my location is not feasible yet but August launch has been confirmed so rollout will happen even faster they said. I am sad that just 50mtrs away from my house has wiring and they can't extend it till my house and saying it will happen when it is supposed to. Till then i can do nothing!!!

it launched my area but but they they said my house is not active in their app. only 10 meters distance from their box. but they charging rs.2500 deposit with 1100gb data per month until next anouncement
