In other aspect, jio can provide live tv(iptv) subscription instead of jio tv+ without effective on running plans.

Jio fiber main agenda is giving TV+INTERNET+CALLING with one package through jio tv + or live tv(iptv). Present Already running in jio tv+. Livetv in testing phase.

Rs.399/- standalone plan available without OTT add on, so they might offer IP tv with STB alongwith this base plan.

OFF TOPIC No gains on this only providing live TV channels with internet as it can only attract lower end customers without the box that's the only advantage I can see . I guess this will be a separate subscription over the other offerings to monetise, otherwise that does not make business sense.

They might offer DTH like packs without NCF, Airtel should offer iptv without NCF to its fiber customers.

I think jio will give all the channels of this iptv live app free access just like jiotv+ with the ott bundle fiber plans. Or in future they may integrate this service to jiotv+ app itself for better acess.

We can observe price tags as per NTO on iptv pay channels. So it will not be free as per TRAI’s NTO in iptv also like DTH/Cable tv

Hey guys! I'm uploading some pictures of the channels airing on LiveTV app in JioFiber. The thing to note is that, It is consuming data. For example, Yesterday's ipl match along with normal programs on the TV Channels plus our regular usage, ie, on phones, laptops etc came around 95 GB of data. Barring LiveTV usage results in about 25-30 GB maximum. (normal usage remained the same) So, Either Jio should increase the FUP per customer or the data consumption of LiveTV shouldn't count on the FUP limit per user since we are getting about 3300 GB per month. That's because of jio is just using every hathway ui for this and replicate it in tha app. Its just in beta phase bro. It will be removed after they introduce new ui to the app. And i think iptv is not comes under nto or trai rule as of now so we can't say anything surely right now

Yes i think its data usage will not count from fup limits. Otherwise it will be not good especially for airfiber users because they only got 1tb limits. Where as most of the average Fiber users can bear this amount of data. Lastly Its a iptv so it will definitely not take data from internet plan.
