Exactly, it drops from 4G to 3G or 2G. It's difficult switching back to 4G. Also almost no one uses 3G. God knows why it's always congested.
That means Volte has not been enabled on your handset. Tweet their support handle and they will activate it manually for you. It was same problem for me. But once activated, everything is suddenly 10x better.

That means they spam me every other day about Volte being available for my handset.

Airtel wants price hike, mostly after Diwali!
Thats Why I never trust Airtel.. They are just waiting for TRAI's decision to keep current IUC Continue forever ..
They Just Care abt Making Money frm customers... Right now Airtel ppl behaving as if they will give Unlimited calls forever..But No If tomorrow TRAI continues IUC for more two years then M sure Frm Jan 2020 Airtel will also stop unlimited offnet calls N will start charging Their Customers...Bcz This is All they want...

Actually the shopkeeper from where I recharged my cellphones told my father few days back that Airtel n Vodafone are actually waiting for this moment and now after waiting for few days they'll also start charging iuc

But they have made clear to their users via social media that they won't be charging. I don't think they will back track on their words.

It was his speculation, operators are trolling Jio over IUC through through messages, calls, social media, they are not stupid to make a U-turn after doing this.

It Shows The worst face of Airtel/voda.When TRAI Stops Charging IUC,They Don't Connect Incoming Calls from Jio to their network Which Makes us(customer) feel Bad about jio call connectivity...and then Beg TRAI to charge IUC which Increases the Burden On Jio More than any other Network..and if jio starts Charging IUC from Customers, Again They Defame Jio.😡
