why does rs20 IUC pack (rs49+rs20 pack in the image above) give only 249 minutes? At 6ps/min, 250 mins would cost only rs15 :)

same is the case with other packs too
The Talktime for 20 rupees is only 15. Rest is tax. See below images.

Jio's customer service has gone downhill. Before we instantly got access to an agent. Now it seems impossible to find an option.

Reliance Jio has termed interconnect usage charge (IUC) as an outdated concept and that the industry should increase investment into 4G networks, before venturing into 5G
Jio's Oommen says IUC concept outdated - ET Telecom
We live in a data world and not voice world. Operators have to converge networks, so that their operating costs reduced.

If one thinks Airtel is offering true unlimited calls. They are living under a rock. They charge for emergency numbers for christsake. Their Volte is just for show. Never works.
Now in some situation when I am in hurry like I have to book a cab to go to railway station on Airtel 4G, while calling it will be converted into 2G and then booking a cab becomes so much difficult.

Exactly, it drops from 4G to 3G or 2G. It's difficult switching back to 4G. Also almost no one uses 3G. God knows why it's always congested.
