There is no accountability. We have lots of batting collapse from last 2-3 years. Still not a single one of them is giving us any explanation. Even team selection is bad these days. We saw that in CWC 2019. Players and coach are getting biased towards some players while leaving the deserving ones. Every one is just involved in lobbying and politics. With the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) deciding on Ravi Shastri’s re-appointment as the India head coach on Friday, it is now the turn of the five wise men of Indian cricket -- the selectors led by MSK Prasad -- to appoint the support staff who will join Shastri to form the coaching staff of the Men in Blue. While the process started on Monday, it will be completed only on Thursday with the announcement of all the names.

Beginning Monday, a total of 14 candidates for the position of Batting Coach, 12 for Bowling Coach, nine for Fielding Coach, 16 for the position of Physiotherapist, 12 for the post of Strength and Conditioning Coach and 24 for the position of Administrative Manager were interviewed. The entire process lasted four days and concluded on Thursday evening.

The selection committee shortlisted three candidates on the order of priority, which is as below.
