so nothing is right in indian cricket...yeterday only BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) announced that it would seek Indian captain Virat Kohli's inputs before announcing the man to replace Anil Kumble.... it a shame bcci went against the CAC which consists indias best sachin, saurav, and laxman..... m more and more conflicts with in the team aswell as out side

The BCCI on Tuesday denied reports that Ravi Shastri has been appointed coach of the Indian cricket team, saying that the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) was still deliberating on the matter.

Amid media frenzy that Shastri has been named coach till the 2019 World Cup, BCCI Secretary Amitabh Chaudhary stated, “No decision has been made on appointment of new coach. The CAC is still deliberating over it.”

Ravi Shastri appointed new head coach and Zaheer Khan bowling coach of Indian cricket team: BCCI

Ravi Shastri has been appointed Team India's head coach. Zaheer Khan has been named bowling coach while Rahul Dravid will be batting coach for overseas tours.

Former captain Ravi Shastri has been appointed the new head coach of the Indian men's cricket team till the 2019 World Cup, as first reported on India Today. Shastri's first assignment will be a full-fledged tour of Sri Lanka featuring three Tests, five ODIs and a one-off T20 International starting July 26.

Meanwhile, Zaheer Khan has been named bowling coach while Rahul Dravid will be batting coach for overseas tours.
