Football fans now watching the Argentina game live in big screen in Thrissur, Kerala
Look no one is denying that giving penalties for blatant holding/pushing is wrong but referees are there to analyze the situation before giving the fouls.Do you know even the attacker climbing over the defender using the defender's body as support is also foul the other way.But how many of these fouls you see given?Personally i don't want to see players going down on slightest tugs or pushes. In Hispanic countries conning the referees like this is considered art but in places like England,France or Germany fans don't appreciate this.Much of the criticism around someone like Neymar in France is due to him feigning contacts, injuries which fans especially the rivals do not appreciate.I am saying that if its a 50-50 ball go for it but nowadays defenders are holding people shirt for corners they are more concerned about the attacker gaining a run on him than they are of actually heading a corner away from goal. This has to change and one way it will change is by giving penalties for holding on to people shirts.
Again as i said referees shouldn't be there to act like robots.Regarding Ronaldo penalty there was contact very minimal but every defender knows the moment he touches the attacker he is asking the referee to make a decision and here the referee decided that the defender had no intention of playing the ball and referee decided the he was just interested in pushing Ronaldo so called it a Penalty
As always Barca will destroy Bayern.Tonight it's not spain vs Germany
Its barca vs bayern
Before VAR if attacker climbs over a defender using his hands for corners and attacker goes down usually the defending team gets a freekick. However if the defender does the same then it is considered fair now thanks to VAR thats changed a lot now both cases it is a foul one reason we are seeing more goalscoring from crosses if you ask meDo you know even the attacker climbing over the defender using the defender's body as support is also foul the other way.But how many of these fouls you see given?
