Pep needs to ditch so many players this ssn.Walker is playing like Ivanovic when he was past his prime.Walker was a physical specimen whose physical attributes helped him overcome his poor defending.Now he has declined physically and an absolute liability defensively.As for other players so many of them are bang average who were made to look great due to Pep’s system.The likes of Akanji ,Dias wouldn’t count among may be top 50 of center backs.Pep is badly missing his midfield metronome but others have just failed to turn up.Look at Foden,he looked so good when everything was rosy at City and now at 1st sign of trouble he looks totally lost.Pep keeps him playing and the guy’s confidence is waning rapidly.City postponed their squad overhaul to next ssn due to uncertainty surrounding Pep but by looks of it this may come back to bite them.
