That era of football was something else. All the teams were great and the leagues were competitive. Than Leicester won, Pep came to City and everything was permanently ruined.

I don’t know what you remember and understood about football of a decade back.PL is at its competitive best at the moment both financially and football wise.Those days before advent of City,there were only Man Utd,Chelsea,Liverpool and Arsenal who could be considered serious teams.With inclusion of Spurs and City it became what we know today as Big 6 of PL.The English way of playing was hoof the ball and expect the strikers to win the battle and score.You would rarely find any country where this Big man -small man combo as striker was used except England.The arrival of Arsene Wenger and then Jose changed the way PL was played.
