My 50Mbps broadband speedtest:

Horrible pings to local server for an ftth connection bro. BTW how do we get a railwire connection? Should we submit the application online or do they have some kind of office like BSNL?

Bro i know about the site. But how do we know if the serve my area? When i try to get a connection it shows all the districts in my state but i live in a village so i wanted to enquire them locally if possible. I prefer talking to people face to face when getting an internet connection.

99% it is not available in your area . It's mainly for cities, i guess even towns are also not covered

They have offices only in big cities 🙁

You can either apply online or call their customer care (note that they have state wise operation so plans are also different for every state). I got connection via talking to customer care, they gave number of local office in my city. To my shock, the guy came within 3 hours, i applied at 3pm and he came at 5.30pm. Next day morning installation was over already.

Pings are really bad, i can't deny but you never get a downtime with Railwire. Even if power cuts, cyclone or anything - connection keeps working. No idea how!

I got a pamphlet recently where a new ISP launched in my area who is providing better pings as their servers are located next to my city and 100Mbps unlimited costs 999. I might try that in coming months. Its a local one, so can't expect good service though.

No worries guys. I have an ftth connection already provided by my lco and he's offering upto 100mbps. Just enquired incase i have to move on in future. So far it's not bad at all. Just a bit too expensive so thought if railwire has good plans let me get it.

Railwire is also costly but service is top notch. I get only one or two disconnection once in six month, so you can imagine. They have cheaper plans for south though. TN has best plans by them.

What's 512kbps?

I'm paying 1450 including taxes for 10Mbps UL. I'll review them soon. I get 1ms ping to the local server which i don't want to miss out on 😅
