Even before central introduced LPG connections to poor my state government given free LPG connections(2007) - Free LPG connection, gas stove scheme launched, reply for my question dont divert the topic

October 04, 2018 (NDA) - Rs 84 this is the highest retail price between 2014-2018.

Crude Oil (Indian Basket) per barrel - Rs - 5,572.91 ( $ 77.38 )

June 22, 2018 (NDA) - Rs 76.02

Crude Oil (Indian Basket) per barrel - Rs - 5,055.08 ($ 74.89)

Just for raise in $ 2.49 increase or Rs 517.83 (due to increase in $ rate) - there was increase in Petrol price of Rs 7.98!

One barrel of crude oil has 47% of petrol , but other parts are diesel , jet fuel , LPF etc. So we can assume 1:1 , ie 1 barrel of crude oil = 1 barrel of petrol.

1 barrel = 158.76 litres

158.76 * 7.98 = Rs 1266.9

For increase of Rs 517.83 in crude oil price , Govt collected Rs 1266.9 from us!

For September 14, 2013 (UPA) Crude Oil (Indian Basket) per barrel price - Rs - 7,384.34

In Chennai under NDA tax policy it would have been Rs 99 (Rs 76.06 - Rs ~ 23 Higher than UPA)

With current $ Rate,

For September 14, 2013 (UPA) Crude Oil (Indian Basket) per barrel price - $ 111.85 = Rs 8,118.07

In Chennai under NDA tax policy it would have been Rs 105 (Rs 76.06 - Rs ~ 29 Higher than UPA)
