Planned to buy external storage device.
Guys,pl suggest whether to go for Pendrive or External Hard disk.
Requirement:
1.Watch to watch movies/songs from external device by connecting to my TV -Whether GB is enough or to go for TB.
2.Which brand is good and cost .
3.Whether to spend around Rs.2000 for Hard Disk or around same price for Pendrives.
4.Technical aspects to be considered for purchase like if any virus issues then able to recover device or whether it will become useless.

It's like asking should i go for breakfast or launch. And regarding Virus, both can give you food poison so it does not matter which one you choose ;)

Couldn't have said it better than @Sarkar . If you are hooking it up with your TV, depending upon your budget and requirement of storage, buy a 1, 2 or 4TB external harddrive. Good companies are WD and Toshiba

Better option is a fire stick. Stream whatever you want. Instead of downloading it.

Connecting external hard disk to a TV may not look neat, better opt for a good pendrive. Moreover extra care is required to carry a hard-disk.
Some reputed pendrive companies are: SanDisk, Kingston.
Do check proper reviews before buying one as some cheaper ones do heat a lot.
Also good external hard-disk cost around 3-4K
