Palaniswami to be next Tamil Nadu CM- TN Govt.

Ending the 10-day political drama in Tamil Nadu, Governor C Vidayasagar Rao has invited the ruling AIADMK's leader of Legislature Party and Public Works Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy to form the next government. Palanisamy is likely to be sworn-in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister within the next 24 hours.

Palanisamy met Rao with five other senior AIADMK leaders this morning. He will be the third Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in as many months after J Jayalalithaa's death on December 5 triggered the massive succession war within the AIADMK.
