Sources told The Telegraph on Tuesday that the BCCI has sent a clear message to the ICC brass in this regard leading to a fresh impasse. The BCCI’s contention is simple — there is no security threat in India and hence no question of accepting such an arrangement.

The much-awaited meeting to resolve the vexing issue of Champions Trophy will be held on Thursday evening with the widely-debated hybrid model all set to be accepted by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The majority of the board members - 15 in all - seem to be in favour of the two-nation formula for the 15-game championship. The meeting will be held at 3.30 PM UAE time (5 PM IST) with Jay Shah, the newly elected Chair of the ICC, presiding over the meeting.

Pakistan shouldnt get extra revenue but same way if Pakistan government says we wont send team to India as they have not sent Indian team to Pakistan and only play in hybrid mode then ICC have to accept that also what they are saying is fair.

So all India v Pakistan matches should happen in neutral countries also Pakistan playing in hybrid mode when ICC events occur in India. Otherwise it wont be fair on Pakistan
