Promo clearly mentioned CT in Pakistan

It looks like India will visit Pakistan despite all hue and cries

BCCI and GOI just need face saving for political purpose but eventually they will agree
This can't be possible, Govt will change if Indian Cricket Team visit Pakistan

Read many times hence posting, Star Sports is no longer the global broadcaster for ICC events, ICC sold region wise rights this time
The amount what ICC is getting from rest of the world is peanuts in front of Indian region.
ICC media rights value in Indian region - 3.2 billion dollars
Rest of the world combined - 200 million.
Star sports are still production partners of ICC.

If star produce the feed, then the graphics and PQ will be pathetic, we are seeing decent coverage from ICC, means some other doing the production, Star has upper hand, asking graphics with regional feed

Exactly, so If India opts out of CT, even Star can opt out and still other region broadcasters can get feed from ICC, That's what I said, Star is not the global broadcaster anymore, also is not the production partner, Star produced events for which hosts were India, that too in the previous broadcast cycle

The tie-up with Star unveiled in mid-2922, is reportedly worth $3 billion for the ICC in total.

The ICC also waited for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to sew up its domestic rights sales process for the top-tier Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 competition, before taking its rights to market.

The world's richest cricket league has just got a lot richer. The IPL's blockbuster media rights auction will net a potential INR 48,390.5 crore (US$ 6.2 billion approx.) in the next five years, making the league among the wealthiest in the world of sports.

Disney Star* has retained the TV rights in the subcontinent for INR 23,575 crore (US$ 3 billion approx.), while Viacom 18 secured the digital rights in the same region and media rights (both TV and digital) across three global regions - Australia + New Zealand, the UK and South Africa - for INR 23,758 crore (US$ 3 billion approx). Star produced both the recent Men's and Women's T20 WC for ICC TV.
