I just checked replies. People were already annoyed with Afridi for his anti India rant wrt Kashmir and were comparing Indian cricketers, like Harbhajan and yuvaraj who were doing some sh#t in the name of uniting both the nations, to him when this happened. It naturally drew their irk. Nothing to say. I haven't watched the series so cannot comment on it as a whole. Watched a clip on twitter in which women from Nepal were portrayed in bad light. That could have been avoided.
