Amazon Indian Originals are so so good.....more closer to the brutal reality, while Netflix brings more of the light hearted fantasy content like House Arrest, Maska, Selection Day which I don't think works with targeted audience, OTT are meant to give content without any interference of Censor Board and it seems only Prime Video understand that, it bring class/mass audience alike in its originals.

Netflix brought 3 dark originals Sacred Games, Delhi Crime and Soni and all did wonders for them, don't know why they are sticking to stupid content.

Me as a customer have large library of light hearted content on TV, need some dark things to binge watch which Prime is fufling from last 2 years and is missing from regular TV

Netflix comes up with Mrs Serial Killer with too much of overacting, zero suspense, no screenplay, nothing and that with a director like Shirish Kunder who has already given blockbusters like Joker and Janemaan .

God save Netflix India from these big bollywood studios, it is becoming a trash ground for Karan Johar and Party, and it would continue until or unless Shristi Behl remains the head for Indian Originals on Netflix, need a person who is far from reach of Bollywood to bring quality control on Netflix

I agree that Netflix has got its india strategy wrong but we have to stop seeing Netflix just from India prosepective.Netflix came into India banking on its stellar library of American shows which is still its USP.yes,they contracted with top indian flimmakers for 10 movies and we are still seeing the original movies coming out of that partnership.I think they will learn from the duds that have come out so far and would increase their outreach to focus on content rather than names.
As for Amazon it is much more than a OTT platform.Whether it releases 5 shows in a year or 10 it won't matter much to them.For netflix,the shows and originals are bread and butter& i hope they will improve atleast their desi content

Surprisingly Zee5 is now a days offering a better Indian content like Kafir, The Verdict, Kaali, The Final Call etc.
