Yes. This is no joke bro. I read on their official forum last year when rumors were coming about OP 4. They clearly denied no phone with digit 4 will be made ever by them.

That is unlucky number for Chinese people. So they skipped the number! :gang

But Redmi Note 4 is selling like a hot cake and Redmi 4 is expected to be another hit :shy

Looks like iPhone.
I was expecting the half ceramic, half brushed aluminium body- that looked awesome.

No bro. Thats not the design I guess. Dual camera at back is going to be vertical. Also if rumors are to be believed, they are ditching the antenna lines

Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO and product guru, shares some exciting news on the #OnePlus5

Hey everyone,

Our mission has always been to share the best technology with the world. This starts with building a great product that performs smoothly. We do this by putting together the best combination of components and making them work together seamlessly.

With the OnePlus 5, our commitment to this philosophy continues. We're proud to announce the OnePlus 5 will feature the Snapdragon™ 835 processor, which sets the foundation for smooth, powerful, and efficient performance. With graphically-demanding apps, for example, you'll notice how fast they load and how well they run.

But choosing the right components is only the first step. You also have to optimize performance to create the best user experience. When we began developing the OnePlus 5, we envisioned a smartphone with flawlessly smooth performance. To illustrate how we made it happen, we'd like to share a bit about our process.

One of the main areas we wanted to improve was touch latency. Our engineers tested why scrolling occasionally differed between phones. There wasn't a lot of precedent for them to work with – no benchmarks, no industry case studies to learn from. So we used a special high-speed camera to track screen movements and measure input speeds. As a result, apps respond quickly to your touch for a seamless user experience.

We also wanted to improve the overall feeling of smoothness. To achieve this, our engineers added a feature to OxygenOS to better manage the way your apps perform. The apps you use most are ready to go when you turn on the OnePlus 5. Apps you rarely use are deprioritized and kept from affecting performance.

These are just some examples, of course. But they illustrate how obsessively we pay attention to the details when optimizing the performance of OnePlus products. We're driven to perfect even the smallest aspects of our products. And when you get your hands on the OnePlus 5, we hope you'll notice the difference.

Never Settle.
