In celebration of it's 5th anniversary occasion, the v5.0 update to Nova Launcher is being released in the Play Store. This update has been in beta testing for a while, but now everyone can get it without joining the beta.

Here's the full changelog for Nova Launcher v5.0.

Swipe to open drawer (a la Pixel Launcher)
New Pixel style searchbar
New search view, with tabs for Frequent, Recent and New/Updated apps
New "Timeout" screen lock method
New double-tap-swipe gestures
Android 7.1 launcher shortcuts
Dock backgrounds to draw under navbar
Quick start to easily change major settings (Nova Settings > Backup > Quick start)
So, if you want to make your launcher look and work more like the Pixel Launcher, Nova supports that now. The new app search interface is quite neat as well. The new gestures are a bit unusual, but can help you get quick access to more features without cluttering up the UI with buttons. The double-tap swipe is a tap followed by a swipe.

The updated app should be rolled out in the Play Store for everyone soon (if not already). Its also available on APK Mirror and from the developer directly.
