even in kv they kept minimum 75% or above in some schools more than 85% for opting for science . in Karnataka they allowed if scored more than 55% for choosing science in PU ( pre university ) in some schools. overall 35% first time hearing they allowing to choose science stream still only after the students pass entrance exam for medial/dentist/engineer college they would be able to go in state or central university after passing the exam only then thy would become , some % of students starts feeling difficulties in degree itself they chose for other specialization in masters or end up leaving degree college in between and doing other course , as 11& 12th are basic science course if they didn't worked much in those years they will do feel more difficulty while studying more advanced or practical related subjects.

yes student capacity of understanding remains diffrent no matter what percentage give them choice chosing stream
2 postive of this parents became happy after saw their child getting science and 2ndly now all students will try less to get 35 % so that they taste science which inderectly decrese lpad of other strem and more job vacancies increase for commerce and arts students
