The price of bottled drinking water is set to drop by seven rupees with the Kerala government deciding to cap the price at Rs 13 per litre.
At present, the retail price of one litre water bottle is Rs 20.

I think last year Government proposed Rs. 12 but manufacturers ad distributors did not agree. There was no government order issued.
Now, finally government is issuing an order, bringing drinking water under 'essential commodities'.
