Netflix decreases its streaming plan prices from Rs.800 to Rs.649 (UHD), from Rs.649 to Rs.499 (FHD) and from Rs.199 to Rs.149 (Mobile) in the name of Happy New Prices in a bid to Amazon Prime's new prices effective from 14 Dec.

They should have atleast given HD (720P) for basic and mobile plan. This won't yield any massive jump imo tho.

Appreciate the mobile plan being honestly price. It needs to be 720p atleast. Restricting resolution is wrong. If content is produced in 4K. It should be accessible. It would be appreciated if they started accepting mobile wallets and RuPay (non renewable) cards. So that buying subscription is easier. Meanwhile the article is hilarious. How they compared Netflix decreasing to Prime increasing it's price? When later is not even selling a streaming service. It's a shopping service which has streaming as complimentary benefit. If Amazon now decides to sell streaming only plans with Netflix like pricing. They can have a whole different business.

Good for Netflix Growth felt 5* hotel buffet price got reduced 😝
Honest comparison. Main courses here are Michelin star restuarant food. Rest are just rotten food.

Correct bro. They should offer at least 720p for basic plans as we don't have dabba TVs and Mobiles for SD viewing.

₹199 plan is ridiculous and totally useless. Who in their right mind will watch content in 480p anywhere other than their smartphone.

Anyways, looks like I am going to continue with the ₹299 Plan. Hope they don't change it themselve.
