once you convert definitly you will lost quality.are you using any writing software or directly copied to cd.or?

if you copied directly ,player cant understand the format directly.so using blurau disc creating software for write it will take care of remaining.
just suggestion i not tried earlier.madhan brother will help you.

so file cant understandable by player.try with writting sw to make a bluray disc.it will playable i think.
try with some low price disc for testing.
