I know the fact why this problem occurred. So, going to pay if they are not agreeing for free service. Amount is Rs.9450/-

They are not repairing it for free

They said the touch and display misaligned hence need to change the display. It happened because of huge pressure from outside. I argued that how can it be my problem. But they didn't agree since any damage (inside or outside) will be out of warranty. I called Samsung customer care and they too said the same. But they suggested to send the findings from service center to their quality control team to confirm if it is coming under warranty or not. Based on their decision only, it will be done.

If you remember, recently I dropped my Moto G3 and camera stopped working. Had they used same logic, I would have ended up paying for the camera replacement. But they didn't say a single word. Replaced for free!! Hmm this after sales service is what defines a company.
