I checked with service center here in my native and they suggested me to take it to Chennai itself as it will take time to solve the problem from here due to various reasons and can't do it before tomorrow EOD. But he said, they have to open the mobile to see what exactly the problem.

You didn't have a protective case or it still didn't help? If there's no evidence that it fell down, service center guys should replace the display provided it's under warranty.

I didn't have protective glass and no defect in the body of the phone after this as far as I inspected.. There is no break or scratch in the screen/back side.. Not sure if they will find out that it fell down. To the local service center, I didn't say anything!

No break in glass means hope change the touch sensor after it's working fine bro

Even if they find out, they can't prove it since there's no evidence. They'll repair it for free. No worries.

They are not repairing it for free :(

They said the touch and display misaligned hence need to change the display. It happened because of huge pressure from outside. I argued that how can it be my problem. But they didn't agree since any damage (inside or outside) will be out of warranty. I called Samsung customer care and they too said the same. But they suggested to send the findings from service center to their quality control team to confirm if it is coming under warranty or not. Based on their decision only, it will be done.

I know the fact why this problem occurred. So, going to pay if they are not agreeing for free service. Amount is Rs.9450/-
