It is a long awaited metro line by Mumbaikars. It's good that at least the first phase is opening next week. Though I'm looking forward to the entire stretch up to cuffe parade to become functional by mid of next year.

The 1st level is empty it's just a makeshift solution coz they couldn't have steep escalators going the full depth so it's broken into two levels. The concourse is on the 2nd level and platform on the 3rd level.

Chalo app beta version has added feature to check offline balance of NCMC card and to update the offline balance after recharging NCMC card in phones supporting NFC.

This will be a game changer in the long run since it will reduce the hassle of updating balance on the card at the Metro counter after online recharge.
