Guys..I got call from Ola SBI regarding pre approved credit card..& I fill the form...they will send agent this weekend to take salary slip and bank statement...so what does pre approved mean ?

I also got the same call. I clicked on that ad in Ola app and getting calls after that. Not sure how much "Pre-approved" it will be. but they will definitely not give credit cards if it doesn't meet their minimum criteria

that's very much possible and this is how I got my first credit card from HDFC, I was holding my salary account with them and they offered, just one form, one sign and I had my card delivered in few days.
But if it's pre approved then what is the point of asking bank statement or salary slip

Pre-approved means when you are pre-qualified for a card/loan where you will get the card/loan with no income documents...In case of Pre-approved credit cards, if they will take your bank statement & salary slip, that means they lied to you about the pre-approved thing...If it would have been pre-approved, you just needed to submit your KYC documents like your Aadhar card, your PAN card & 1 copy photo, that's it & pre-approved card applications never get declined because the bank already decided "in-advance", to give you the card as you are pre-approved/pre-qualified for the same...
But since they will collect your income docs, it's not a pre-approved card application & it may get approved or declined based on your credit worthiness, physical verification & bank's credit policy parameters..

Also one more thing I read that to qualify for SBI credit card we must have 20k + salary.. but my salary lesser than that...my already Amazon card rejected ..but my CIBIL score is 800

You will be eligible for most of the credit card only you have monthly income of 20k+

Don't apply for cards back to back, with every credit query your score goes down. Ensure to check the eligibility criteria, try applying basic card of SBI or Hdfc.

No need to cancel now, they must have already processed your application, did you get any email or sms confirming your card application number.
