In order to provide some more time to the taxpayers, the date for linking PAN and Aadhaar has been extended to 30th June, 2023, whereby persons can intimate their Aadhaar to the prescribed authority for Aadhaar-PAN linking without facing repercussions. Notification to this effect is being issued separately.

Until ₹1000 fine is revoked. Most people are not doing this. Also this was not required for people from Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir. Guess what? No one ever explained full terms and conditions. Also they send text to people of these states to link. Now they are charging fine. Dumbfounded id*otic approach.

When you go to the bank for linking aadhar with pan card by paying 1000 rs and see your aadar and pan card link already done

Again they will increase the deadline to October 31st 2023 after 30th june 2023.
