Karbonn mobile manufacturers have recently launched a new mobile handset in the market with a brand name Karbonn K1010. The most striking feature of this mobile phone is its extremely light weight. It weighs just 85grams and feels very light. One can easily put it inside their pocket or slip inside the purse. It can be carried easily. The dimensions of this mobile phone are 107.2 x 56.1 x 11.8 mm. Karbonn K1010 has a 2.8 inches TFT full touch screen type of display with a screen resolution of 240x320 pixels. It has been packed with an additional feature of anti-theft technology that ensures that you are always aware of its whereabouts incase if you happen to misplace it or someone steals it. It is dual SIM mobile phone that works on network band of GSM/EDGE/GPRS. It is powered by Li ion battery having a capacity of 1050mAh. This battery gives a back up of talk time up to 4 hours and stand by time of up to 250 hours. Apart from other standard features of any mobile phone it also has a camera with a 1.3 mega pixels size. This camera enables capturing of images and video recording. The camera gives an image resolution of 128x 1024 pixels. It also provides digital zoom feature.
Karbonn k1010 provides an internal memory of capacity 300 KB which can be further expanded up to 8GB through an external card slot. The image format supports file with extension JPG, BMP and GIF. Video format supports files with extension 3GP, MP4 and AVI. Audio format supports files having extension MP3, MIDI, WAV and AMR. In terms of data connectivity it doesn’t support 3G connection. However, Bluetooth and GPRS class 12 are pretty good feature for easy transfer of data at a considerable high speed. Messaging feature includes SMS and MMS. It has a FM radio with recording, video player and recorder. It also has 1000 phonebook and mobile tracker. Other additional features are WAP browser and facility of wallpaper and ringtone download. It can work on hands-free and vibrating mode. It has wonderful screen savers and there are 64 polyphonic pre loaded ringtones. There are also some embedded exciting games that can occupy the users for a long time. It also has caller ID facility with an image. Call conference, caller group, one touch camera, predictive text, English and Hindi languages, Calculator, Alarm clock, Stop Watch, World times, Speed Dialing, Organizer, To-Do list, Voice recorder and Currency converter are few of the other standard features that are available in this mobile set. Its price in India is about Rs 3,250 only.
