Airtel compressed too much for iptv (2 to 3 mbps for SD channels), even customer have sufficient bandwidth plan (100 mbps).
In MPEG 4 , 2 or 3 Mbps for SD chs is extremely good... So as I have said poor picture quality has nothing to do with transmission quality from Airtel side but it depends on customer's internet speed

This list should be mentioned which channel is native (DTH Feed) or youtube feed or some other digital feed

As sony and star network it's just name in list but content is not like DTH experience like Airtel have
Bcoz Jio TV+ is not IPTV but simply app based live TV service hence it will carry digital feedback of some chs whose schedule different from regular feed as chs only sir content whose digital rights they have on such feeds.... In Airtel IPTV one gets regular satellite feed

SD chs on Airtel IPTV is quite good, if ur internet speed is bad them quality will get adversely affected
SD channels in Airtel iptv & dth are poor quality (high compression), even TP deliver better quality for SD channels in DTH. I have Airtel iptv, still my eyes and brain goes to Youtube to watch news channels for good pq over high compressed iptv. ;)

SD channels quality on Airtel IPTV is absolutely average, in comparison to Jio STB (Jiotv+) channels quality and channels quality from Tata Play DTH. HD channels quality of Airtel IPTV is good, not the best.

And just to clarify, my internet speed is not affecting the streaming experience because I currently have a 200 Mbps plan on Airtel Fiber and 4K HDR resolution supported Sony TV. The major issue with Airtel IPTV is it's compressing SD channels too much, which is causing poor SD channels quality.

The good thing is due to heavy compression on SD channels by Airtel, while IPTV box in use, I see negligible difference (speed reduction) in the internet speed since the box uses very less bandwidth. This also means low speed plan users like 30/40 Mbps can have a seamless (buffer free) IPTV experience.

I have the following connections and I have done a thorough comparison of each service before reaching to this conclusion.

1. Airtel IPTV with Airtel Fiber (200 Mbps plan)
2. Jio STB with Jio Fiber (300 Mbps plan)
3. Tata Play HD DVR

Watching SD channels on Tata Play and Jio STB has superior picture quality. I wanted to try the newly launched Airtel IPTV service since Airtel Fiber recently reached my street so I went ahead and took the Fiber + IPTV Black connection.

By the way, I have done a thorough internet experience comparison between Airtel & Jio Fiber services where Airtel Fiber's internet feels superior compared to JioFiber because of their better routing and browsing experience.

You guys can go through the below thread and give it a read:

can u explain how his internet speed is bad if he's getting good PQ in HD channels on Airtel IPTV which require much higher internet speed than SD channels?

Please don't talk nonsense to defend Airtel, then u will say u are unbaised and neutral

Buddy atleast think before commenting, when IPTV services r transmitted then seperate frequencies r allotted for relay of SD and HD channels so sometimes due to improper settings applied on ur router or any other tech glitch one may receive good quality transmission on chs available on one frequency but not on another..... So I know what I am stating but u somehow just want to blame airtel for each and everything they do
