Jio fiber users will have to pay minimum Rs 1199/month to watch PSL matches from today. As digital rights with not with them so no telecast on Sony Ten channels in Jio TV+ app and fancode subscription available only on minimum 1199 plan 😡 😂

Dear Bittoo,

I understand your concern regarding Live Channels.

I would like to share that, Live Tv app service is not launched yet. However, Live channels are available in the “Live TV” section of JioTV+ app. Currently, JioTV+ has 650+ channels on offer and we will continue to add more channels. You will be able to play channels and based on your plan subscription.

You can do a voice search for any Live channel by pressing the Mic button on the remote. Also, note that your frequently visited channels are available in the “Live Channels You Watch” section in the Home or Live TV section of JioTV+, for easy access.

We have also enabled Channel Guide, which allows you to access the channels in JioTV+, by just typing the channel number using a STB remote.

Note: Channel availability depends on the digital rights/discretion of OTT Apps and is subject to change.

Please note that, Live channels in OTT apps are governed by digital rights. Unlike local cable/DTH that operate on linear or satellite rights.

If an OTT partner does not have digital rights to stream a particular content in their live channels, it is replaced with some other content for that slot. This is standard behavior for any OTT app having live channels.

Vice versa also holds true, wherein a movie might get launched on OTT App first before coming on local cable/DTH.

You will see a similar observation on the Mobile/Web version of this OTT. The content playing on the Mobile/Web version of the OTT will be the same as that on Jio STB.

Since this is controlled by the OTT partner, I recommend you to connect with the respective app support team.

Appreciate your patience and understanding in this concern.

In case you need any further assistance kindly write back to us. Assuring you of our best possible services at all times.

Big question now--Does channels like Colors Cineplex, Cineplex Bollywood,Superhits ,Times network english movie channels and few other movie channels playing in native mode telecast movies only movies of which it has digital rights.
So dth feed of popular channels like Star Gold,Zee channels and sony channels will never going to add.
If they can't add movie channels due to OTT rights issue why they don't add their entertainment genre channels like sony tv,Zee tv and star Plus which don't have such issue

This will be taken care by Live TV using DTH /cable of Hathway etc when they launch it ( Don't know when but as it is there it will be launched ) when you are prepared to pay NCF and channel cost as in DTH . This is now bypassed in Jio TV + with digital channels running from respective Apps.

NFC + channels feed it's better then this jiotv+ if it's provide like Airtel IPTV instead of useless 1000 + channels not playing primium content when it telecast on TV just billed should be bundle and only popular channels

They can gradually increase Rs.200/ for black plan prices with iptv and Simaltaniously decrease Rs 350/- worth of channels to Rs.260/- soon as per their confused chart of black plans.
