You said jiofi3 battery long last..how it?all said jiofi3 battery drain fast despite 2600mah coz it has oled display and strong wifi range due to which it drain fast..isnt it?
Which one is best jiofi2 or jiofi3.. some are saying 2 and some are saying 3. I am little bit confused which one buy..can u suggest me on the basis of following parameters
1 it should be fast in speed and long In wifi strength
2. long lasting battery.
3. Less heating
issue

The jiofi 2 which i am using is first generation. So comparing to tat jiofi 3 is better.. Jiofi 2 heats up a lot but i don't see tat in 3.. Also speed is better in jiofi 3 along with battery backup. In spite of having OLED display battery last long. On intermittent usage it even gives one day backup.

But again am qualified oly to compare first generation of jiofi 2 and jiofi 3.. Some friends here having 2nd generation of jiofi 2. They saying its performance is good.

Yes. For 9 hours it consumes only 50% battery.

I am talking about the 2nd generation jiofi 2.

I am currently using it.

And what about speed and wifi rang. Is it shows range upto 3 rooms or 10 to 15 metere? How many mbps speed giving?
Is new jiofi 2 heat after usage of 6 to7 hr continously? And last one is this new jiofi 2 maintain signal connectivity or drop signal?

Hi bro,

Yes, it gives a whole night battery backup. New JioFi 2 is nice and i didn't used its earlier or later version ever. Battery backup is 9+ hours, sometimes crosses 10+ but usually i charge before 8-9 hours as i have broadband which i use other times in home.

Speed is average here, some say JioFi 3 is better in terms of speed and locks in higher band while JioFi 2 is really always giving slow speed in lower band (yes, in my personal experience too its slow). :s

No heating issues, its warm sometimes but not too much.

JioFi 3 is big and bulky while this one is small and compact. I like compact things hence its the best choice for me, and easy to carry too. The JioFi 3 OLED display never turns off (as our members have said) while JioFi 2 LED lights turns off while idle. That is another plus of JioFi 2 for battery save. ;)

Hope it helps you deciding which one to go for. :k

In my location I used to get upto 30mbps speed. I didn't find speed issue. Jiofi speed seems to be faster than mobile phone.

I felt slight warm over long usage. Which is normal as mobile phone gets heated more than jiofi on 4g network... Range is also good..
