• Once you receive SMS in reg mobile that your card is ready for tele verification.
• Insert the card (SIM slot 1 preferably )
• Make sure preferred network type is LTE
• Enable HD voice if  available and call  1977
• If HD voice not available call 18008901977 from any network (landline) and activate the data service only
• Once done download myjio app from playstore and create a jio account with jio number
• You will receive OTP in reg number
• If you have non volte and need to make calls, download jiojoin app and give app permissions and then call 1977 from jio number to activate calls.
• Preview offers will take time to activate mostly below 30mins

Did you received any sms on the alternate contact number once the Sim is activated from their end?
I got the Sim yesterday and I'm waiting for the sms to insert the jio sim into my handset.

Yeah you will get sms and it may sometime take upto more than 2 days

The free preview offer is tied with the IMEI number used when getting the SIM using the SIM serial number. If we try the SIM in any other phone, only incoming works. This is what I got to know from Jio customer care.
