I received that message at 6:43pm yesterday and another at 9:05pm saying that the number was ready for tele verification. So it took roughly 2.5 hours for my number.

Got Activated bro...

Getting upto 12 Mbps in Remote area in Thiruvallur (Workplace) itself..

Need to check back in city and my home location

Most areas in Chennai are giving for only Samsung and LG phones...
They are not updated with other models

Try in nungambakkam, I read somewhere on this thread that someone got it from there. And yes, the store guys say that the offer is only available for VOLTE devices. There's some miscommunication between them and higher authorities. Basically they are assuming that if we don't have a VOLTE phone, we can't make calls and the SIM becomes useless. But what they don't know is the SIM can also be used as "Data only" or it could be used to make calls on a non VOLTE device also using Jiojoin app. And Bill copy thing is bull crap again, nothing of that sort is needed.

Not all stores in Hyderabad. I got mine in Hyderabad only for my Moto.
