Anyhow my uncle sells TV's usually people use to buy DD FreeDish and Tata Sky along with it. Gone are those days. People wants JioFiber. Connection itself is free. Basic monthly cost is just ₹470. My mobile and DTH plan combined cost me more than this every month. You can watch shows on most OTT platform for free. Also youtube itself has so much content. No one needs TV. When Viacom said they are giving IPL to lower tier section of section. They meant this. They understand that the market has moved.

Don't compare hotstar and jio cinema. A study says that in 360p quality hotstar data consumption is around 300 MB and jio cinema is around 600 mb in a hour .
