So more customers will jump to Jio if it's steep hike in the price. I hope avoid also restricts reduces data in pre-paid plans.

Before Airtel used to increase tariff and then VOID used to follow them. Situation is still the same but people are acting like Jio killed competition.

It just was fair competition. They offered freebies for too long. Also the pricing post January 2018 was ridiculous. It affected both telecom and broadband industry.

Airtel already made clear by introducing mandatory recharge, now they're going to next level which is good. They know very well that not everyone is happy with Jio and customers will choose quality over price.

By Far for most of the people its the quality, whereas for most its the pricing. Hope we see stable network for voice/data with substantial increase in price.
