Jio AirFiber seems to have rolled out in my area. I get a popup on MyJio app that says "Jio AirFiber is here!".

They charged my friend 100 rs last month as booking charges and said coming to your area soon 😁 and called him after one week ☺️ so don't worry u will get call
I couldn't even get to the booking page. It showed the above page after I entered my address.

Anyways, how's your friend's experience so far? Twitter is filled with complaints from people claiming their WiFi is down. How come Internet is down where it's basically running via a 5G sim. I don't get it. 🤔

So far good experience
Don't know much downtime but speed is good. He opted for 100mbps plan
JioAirfibre provider didn't givan monthly plan, and asked to pay for 3months plan
I think for 2100 something he got jiostb and router Airfibre outdoor unit is installed at his apartment Terrece which can be used for additional connections within apartment. And He said Jiostb jiorouter and that airfibre Outdoor unit is sole property of jio and subscriber is not owner of those devices thats why they don't charge any installation charges or deposit n all.

I thought minimum 6 Months was mandatory for new customers.
₹2100 is a great deal.
₹899 100mbps with taxes should've been around ₹3182. Including ₹1000 installation charge, it should've been ₹4182.

Yes that airfibre agent is insisting on 6 month pack but at last agreed for 3 months because its 1st airfibre connection at my area and from this he can get more customers in same apartment and nearby area so not a bad deal for both buyer and seller
Thats why he agreed for 3 months.

Me was also thinking for airfibre but my current isp provider gives me 60 mbps for 599 per month which is more than enough for me. Thats why i hesitate to go for other companies.
Also i use iptv on my smarttv
Airtel/ jio sometimes blocks access to iptv as they rely on dns by isp
This is the another reason i dont opt for other isp providers.
