KERALA BLASTERS FC SIGN LITHUANIA CAPTAIN FEDOR CERNYCH

Indian Super League (ISL) side Kerala Blasters FC have managed to get Lithuania captain Fedor Cernych’s signature for the remainder of the season.

Lithuania captain Fedor Cernych has signed for Kerala Blasters FC on Wednesday for the remainder of the 2023-24 season, shared Kerala Blasters FC on their social media.
Although the transfer is subject to him succeeding in his medical tests, the Blasters’ signing him from the Cypriot First Division side AEL Limassol on a free transfer has created great hype among the Manjappada.
 
Some updates regarding indian club football:

1)The clubs who will finish at 2nd and 3rd after end of regular league stage of isl will qualify for saff club championship 2024 august(but those 2 teams should not have qualified for acl 2 or hence the spot of that team will go to 4th placed one)

2)Isl 2023-24 second half of fixtures have been released which will start on 31 Jan and league stage will end on 14 April. The 2 Kolkata Derby matches of this ISL season are on 3 Feb(mbsg home) and 10 march(ebfc home). The knockout playoffs and finals of the isl cup will end by the first week of May this year.



3)Durand cup 2024 will start after the saff club championship ends in august and in the upcoming 2024-25 season, aiff gonna finally bring back the prestigious domestic knockout club competion- Federation Cup tournament, replacing the Super cup which will be ended permanently. This event will last throughout the duration of every season, giving many matches in regular intervals to all clubs of isl, I league 1,2,3. And eventually its winner will qualify for acl 2 preliminary stage for the next season and beyond it too. Hence this will be the primary domestic cup competition in Indian football from this year onwards.

as per reports. all foreign players except their Brazilian captain left Hyderabad FC due to issue with management, mainly on non-payment of wages.
HFC cannot bring in new players either, as there is transfer ban by FIFA/AFC, due to unpaid wages complaints from former players.
