Ten Hag's style is not much different from what Ole got panned for.Moreover,his signings have all been questionable.And lastly now teams want to have a progressive coach who can make the teams play good football not just win trophies.

City's football despite the PL has been very poor.It is easy to see that likes of DeBruyne are no longer the force he was couple of ssn's back.Moreover,the summer signings have all been average to bad.Kovacic,Nunes do not add anything extra to what City already had.Doku has been inconsistent and probably not yet fully assimilated with Pep's style of play.Gvardiol is a CB who has been forced to play LB.I won't be surprised if City went for Bruno G in summer and would have gone for Paqueta too if not for impending ban.

Eventhough revenues wise it would have suited Chelsea to play in Europa league,i feel that a oversized young squad such as Chelsea would benefit from having more competitive matches as in Conference league.Games in Conference leagues won't be challenging for a team like Chelsea till later stages however we should hope for less travelling for the squad.Chelsea also has to play a 2 leg qualifier in August(22 & 29) before progressing to group stages.However,this also depends on Chelsea complying with PSR rules of UEFA,Chelsea would rather opt out of Conference league like Milan did and rework on their PSR rather than take a ban.
