the outdated technology is cable/DTH and whatnot. Unintentionally we were futuristic 10 yrs ago, but IPTV didnt take off because of how it was implemented, over slower copper DSL and slower mediums. Nowadays, local cable operators are giving cable connections using FTTH. Fiber broadband is expanding rapidly. 5G FWA is also another medium of fast internet access. IPTV should have launched 4yrs ago but its never late. It HAS to replace DTH and traditional linear TV. All over the world, triple play is the norm, you get landline+broadband+TV over a single line and single bill. it benefits the customers a lot and also the deployment cost is less for the operators. so many smaller operators are providing triple play services already in India.
