Most wickets in an IPL season by an Indian bowler

27 Jasprit Bumrah (2020)*
26 Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2017)
24 Harbhajan Singh (2013)
24 Jaydev Unadkat (2017)

Bumrah records his best figures in T20 cricket
4 overs
1 maiden
14 runs
4 wickets

Batting collapse, if they bat second. Just like last league match against SRH.

Whoever bowls, just has to bowl in the right length to Rohit, QDK, Kishan and H Pandya. Handling Pollard will become easier then..
MI while chasing
201 vs RCB (lost in super over)
166 vs DC (won)
149 vs KKR (won)
166 vs RCB (won)
111 vs DC (won)
116 vs CSK (won)

Only last match performance against SRH was below par by Mi that too because of Pandya , bumrah and Boult were not playing .

201 vs RCB (lost in super over)
Why they lost in that match? Because RCB bowlers bowled the correct line and length that day.

Even though Kishan and Pollard were red hot that day, the wicket of Kishan slowed things down for them.
Early wickets on the correct line and lengths, the second finalist can easily win...

They bowled correct line and length then how come Mi managed to score 201 in first place.

All thanks to the death overs surge by Kishan and Pollard... MI were restricted until the 16th over.. Even then, the wicket of Kishan slowed things down for MI...

Well this does neither answer your batting collapse logic nor good line and length advice.

When DC traded Boult, and focused on acquiring Rahane & Ashwin they were building a team to play most of the games in Kotla, where Boult would have had Limited success....
I hope if next Tournament is played in UAE teams plan smart trades to build stronger side....
In that case, why take Anrich Nortje? The Kotla logic wouldn't work in this case too. Instead, for reasons best known to DC, they made MI even stronger by giving Boult.

It was not even a swap, DC just let go of Boult. Served them right today.
