To be Honest, 7 teams playing in this IPL are no match for MI, unless they themselves Decide to lose like match against SRH.

It's highly unlikely. And considering next ipl is just 6 months away don't know if it would make sense.

This is why there needs to be a mega auction:

Farmers Premier league. There is no point in conducting IPL next year either. Just declare MI as champion.

To be Honest MI has become strong because of other teams major blunders in Auctions.

1st On List RCB by Trading De Kock to Mumbai imagine he playing aside Paddikal in place of Phillipe.

2nd on List List KKR by deciding 2 use RTM on Uthapa Instead of Surya Kumar Yadav who was vice captain of KKR till 2017.

3rd on List DC Trading Boult to MI making MI bowling more stronger.

There should be small auction may be online, as there are some Good players yet not part of IPL i.e. Starc, Richardson, Jason Roy
And many good players in reserve who didn't got chance to play, Fabian Allen, Cris Lynn, Sandeep L....
