Can only hope for CSK not to have the wooden spoon. It is the least we can reasonably hope for. As for MI, it may win the trophy in an even year.

Giving opportunity to youn ones has clearly backfired.
Let's hope CSK will bounce back in next match.

But that doesn't mean statement in front of camera is right it's absolute ridiculous
Do young players get dropped after 1-2 bad performances? Yes. It happens all the time at all levels - international, IPL, domestic, even our gully cricket.

Dropping a player because hes not up to the mark is an action. Same thing Dhoni said in words. And thats how sports people learn and become tough and come back better. To me, there is nothing ridiculous at all about that statement of not seeing the spark. It was an answer Dhoni felt appropriate to the question "Why don't the other young players replace the players in the playing 11". Maybe hes also owning up to his fault also that he didn't pick the young cricketers properly in the auction?

IPL 2020- Qualifying chance percentage based on possibilities

Match No. 42 KKR v DC
Match No. 43 KXIP v SRH

TeamCurrentKKR & KXIP winKKR & SRH winDC & KXIP winDC & SRH win
RCB9897.996.99998.3
MI97.897.796.798.898.1
DC97.595.994.1Qualified99.9
KKR56.9717441.241.3
KXIP21.3275.941.211.1
SRH194.225.9738.8
RR8.86.2611.611.2
CSK0.70.150.291.11.2

So, DC can be first team to qualify for play-offs today.

CSK still has chance to qualify, but due to -0.733 NRR, they can only overtake RR or KKR's NRR.
so, if CSK wins all three matches , and KKR &/ RR finish on 12 points, then there is chance to qualify by NRR.
KXIP & SRH should not get 12 or more points.
(as per current NRR)
